Plus makeup feature for E-Mods!
Conneaut, OH (July 5, 2017): The night sky over the Conneaut, Ohio area will be lit with Fireworks by Gibson this Friday while the racetrack below will also have hot action as the Bonnell Collision Service E-Mods will race twin features including the “make-up” feature for the E-Mods that was rained out May 19 . The ever-popular Pennsylvania Vintage Dirt Modifieds will also be attendance for their first appearance of the season.
Joel Watson holds the points lead in the Bonnell’s Collision Center E-Mod championship points race over Troy Johnson, Ken Zimmer, Gary Eicher, and Jeff Johnson. Former champion Dennis Lunger holds the Evergreen Lake Park Campground CARS Crate Late Model points lead over Dave Airgood, Chris Withers, Wendall Pinckney, and Darrell Bossard. The Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stocks are being paced by defending champion Shaun Fawcett over Anthony Marotto, Jamie Duncan, Jimmy Kennerknecht, and Garrett Calvert while Brandon Blackshear leads the Bonnell’s Auto Sales Economods. Steve Haefke is currently second over Eric Reinwald, Geoff Conn, and Mitchell Wright. Bill Fuchs heads up the Sunnyside Farm Transit Mini Stock title chase over Joe Campbell, Jim Jones, defending champion Jason Easler, and Wes Stull.
Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90 on Route 7 in the town of Monroe Center, OH and races every Friday night May — September. Racing begins at 7:30 PM every Friday. General admission for this special event is $10 and children 7-14 admitted for $5 each. Kids 6 and under are always free. NO PETS are admitted to the track! Fan and pit gates open at 5:30 PM. Pit admission is $25 with minimum age 18. Children under 18 admitted with a “Minor Release” form available at pit gate that must be filled out by a parent accompanying the youth.
