Conneaut, OH (June 27, 2017): The Patriot Sprint Tour returns to Raceway 7 for it’s second appearance of the season with tour points leader, defending champion, and May 19th winner Jared Zimbardi, winner of four A-Mains this season leading the pack. Zimbardi currently leads Steve Collins, former champion Bryan Howland, Joe Trenca, and Kyle Drum in series points. All five are expected to be in the running for the win Friday.

To cap off the evening a giant fireworks display by Gibson, of Titusville, PA will light up the night sky at the northeast Ohio speedplant.
All five regular divisions will be in attendance with former champion Dennis Lunger again heading up the Evergreen Lake Park Campground CARS Crate Late Model standings over Dave Airgood, Chris Withers, Wendall Pinckney, and Darrell Bossard. A former champion of the Bonnell’s Collision Service, Joel Watson, heads up the division again over Troy Johnson, Ken Zimmer, Gary Eicher, and Jeff Johnson. Yet another former champion, the defending title holder, Shaun Fawcett, leads Anthony Marotto, Jamie Duncan, Jimmy Kennerknecht, and Garrett Calvert in the chase for the Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stock honors. Brandon Blackshear has a substantial early-season lead of 31-points over Eric Reinwald for the Bonnell’s Auto Group Economods championship. Steve Haefke, Tyler Frankenberry, and Jeff Conn fill out the top five, a tight race with Conn only twenty points back of second-running Reinwald. Bill Fuchs leads the points race for the Sunnyside Farm Transit Inc Mini Stocks with Joe Campbell a mere nine-points back in second, Jim Jones twenty out of the lead in third, former champion Jason Easler in fourth, 71-points out of the lead, and Wes Stull, another nine behind Easler.
Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90 on Route 7 in the town of Monroe Center, OH and races every Friday night May — September. Racing begins at 7:30 PM every Friday. General admission for regular events is $10 and children 7-14 admitted for $5 each. Kids 6 and under are always free. NO PETS are admitted to the track! Fan and pit gates open at 5:30 PM. Pit admission is $25 with minimum age 18. Children under 18 admitted with a “Minor Release” form available at pit gate that must be filled out by a parent accompanying the youth.
