Conneaut, OH (August 21, 2014): Conneaut, OH will be host to the largest D-Day reenactment in the US this weekend, August 22-23 at Conneaut Township Park, just off Exit 241 on Interstate 90 only five miles west of the Pennsylvania border. The two day free event will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Normandy Invasion with a 40s Cruise-In and car show and Movies Under the Stars Thursday, various military demonstrations in addition to the battle reenactment on Friday and Saturday, capped off with a 40s style dance and ‘Canteen’. All events at the park are free admission. Last year saw over 25,000 visitors to the event.
