Conneaut, OH (June 5, 2019) — the annual “Autograph Night”, always a fan favorite, will be held this Friday June7 at Raceway 7. The event allows fans to walk out on the racing surface and meet racers, crews, and owners for the annual “meet ‘n’ greet”. Fans will be allowed on the track for approximately twenty minutes during an intermission. Many teams come to the track with candy and other prizes for fans of all ages.
In on-track competition Matt Latta is the current Evergreen Lake Park Campground RUSH Late Model points leader on the strength of two feature wins over the three weeks of the season so far. However, his lead is a mere four points over Bruce Hordusky with defending champion Darrell Bossard only two points back in third. Kyle Zimmerman, another past champion and May 24th winner, trails Bossard by 27 markers and Breyton Santee is yet another eight points back in fifth.
The Bonnell’s Collision Center E-Mod standings show Gary Eicher, a past champion and the May 24th winner with a 10 point lead over Dennis Lunger, last week’s winner. Third is Casey Bowers, another three points behind Lunger, Dan McDonald another thirteen points behind Bowers, and opening night winner Mike Kinney, fifth, only four points behind McDonald. Defending champion Troy Johnson is sixth, 36 points behind the leader.
Week two winner Pat Fielding leads the Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stocks by 28 points over Joe Stajnragh. Third is Wesley McCray, winner opening night and May 31. McCray did not compete May 24. Darr Diegelman is fourth, 52 points behind the leader with Garrett Calvert, another eleven points back.
The Bonnell’s Auto Sales Economods are being paced by opening night winner Kyle Miller with a slim four point lead over Matt Alexander. Alexander has not yet entered Victory Lane in 2019. He holds a razor-thin one point edge over third running Nate Young, who celebrated his first-ever feature win last week. Fourth is second-generation driver Mitchell Wright, 31 points behind Young. Dustin Demattia is fifth twenty points out of fourth. Week two winner was Eric Wilson in his only appearance thus far this season. Wilson is currently fourteenth in the standings.
May 24th winner Mark Lawrence currently holds a 33 point lead over defending champion and last week’s winner Dillon Speer in the Sunnyside Farm Transit Mini Stock standings. Speer is only three points ahead of opening night winner Pete Blaczak. Jim Haefke is fourth, a solitary point in arrears of Blaczak with Lane Reinwald another 28 points back in fifth.

Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90 on Route 7 in the town of Monroe Center, OH and races every Friday night May — September. Racing begins at 7:30 PM every Friday. General admission for regular events is $10 and children 7-14 admitted for $5 each. Kids 6 and under are always free. NO PETS are admitted to the track! Fan and pit gates open at 5:30 PM. Pit admission is $25 with minimum age 18. Children under 18 admitted with a “Minor Release” form available at pit gate that must be filled out by a parent accompanying the youth.
